Vintage 2022
2022, a vintage of precision!

The vintage 2022 was characterized by a typical climate of the Tuscan Coast. The Winter experienced mild temperatures and low rainfall, followed by a rainy Spring from March to mid-May. Summer arrived early and continued with hot and sunny days. This pattern was interrupted on August 13th by a low-pressure system that brought refreshing rains for over a week, cooling the temperatures. These conditions encouraged slow, steady ripening, enhancing freshness and complexity in the grapes. During harvest, ideal weather allowed us to bring excellent grapes into the cellar. The result is a vintage with velvety tannins, remarkable balance, and deep elegance.

Vintage 2021
2021, a vintage of perfect ripeness

The 2021 vintage was characterised by low rainfall and temperatures below zero during the month of February. March was dry with the maximum temperature being above average, thus accelerating the budding process. The springtime, was otherwise, cool and rainy with a frost that was recorded on April 8th. Fortunately, the weather remained dry and stable during the whole month of August, thanks to the arrival of an anticyclone towards the end of May. September was sunny and warm, this allowed us to harvest the grapes at their full phenolic
ripeness, with a result of soft and silky tannins.

Vintage 2020
The Bright Sun of The Tuscan Coast!

Winter temperatures were mild, with a fresh early spring followed by an April and May with either maximum or minimum above-average temperatures. After copious rainfall in the first week of June, summer continued with no precipitation but cool nights and average maximum temperatures. A clear and bright sky marked the Summer season until the end of August, when a significant rain gave the plants a new vitality and allowed the grapes to ripe correctly. The 2020 vintage grapes show high quality, gentle and well-ripened tannins in all parcels.

Vintage 2019
2019, a vintage of perfect harmony

The 2019 vintage is likely to be remembered as one of the most homogeneous and high-quality vintages in recent years. During the summer months, we recorded average temperatures with fresher nights. We had 6 significant rainfalls that helped avoid hydric stress and created the perfect conditions to start the ripening season. We started the harvest slightly later than usual. We picked the first Merlot on 6th September, then in order: Syrah, Sangiovese, Grenache, Cabernet franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, ending with the Petit Verdot. The weather conditions were excellent. We took our time to select and harvest each grape from each parcel in its most harmonious balance of freshness and ripeness.
